Wool selected from wool producing breeds are those used in the production of these Pulled Wool Saddle Pads.  The earth-wise, renewable resource of wool equally adds to the appeal of these pads.  Wool used from breeds includes, but not limited to:  Merino, Rambouilette, Jacob, Shetland, Moorit, Black Welsh, Navajo-Churro, and Cheviot to name a few.  Natural colors are the most popular, although dyed wools are available for those wanting a splash of color!  Today, wool is referenced as the "new high-tech fiber" a rather interesting reference since wool has been a "solid old standby" for saddle pad makers and for at least a century.   My pads offer soft, supple premium virgin wools.
